- Represents the school’s mission and vision in all aspects of work.
- Engages continuously in professional development opportunities, through external training or self-learning techniques. Maintains advanced knowledge in the field of education to serve as an educational leader for staff and stays up to date through continuous professional development.
- Engages with the education community and the IBO to remain up-to-date with new trends and advancements. Determines the potential of incorporating these advancements at Amman Academy.
- Assists the programme coordinator and stage principal to ensure that the stage meets the IB program standards and practices and all Ministry of Education requirements and policies.
- Attends management committee meetings, subject coordinators meetings, and individual parents’ meetings.
- Assists in the management of the stage office to liaise between AA administration, students and parents and handles all relevant communication with different department offices.
- Remains informed by the primary principal about staff attendance using attendance reports prepared by the HR department. Takes all necessary coaching and disciplinary measures required for corrective action in consultation with the principal.
