- The intern will have an understanding of the procurement process in NGOs.
- He/She will have an understanding of the development and implementation of the project’s procurement plan and expenditure reporting.
- He/She will be able to archive the project documents and official correspondences and keep MC asset lists complete and up to date.
- He/She will be able to raise PRs and follow up with procurement department on contracts, schedule delivery of goods and services and track payment requests.
- He/She will be able to utilize the different trackers/Excel sheets used by the program to followup on PRs and keep them up to date.
- He/She will be able to check simple procurement transactions of the project and identify any missing documents/requirements.
- He/She will be able to follow up on all events and trainings logistical needs with different departments.
- The intern will enhance their business/procurement ethics while practicing.
