Job Title: Project Operations Manager

Location Cheltenham (Central)

Working Pattern: Inoffice with hybrid working options to bediscussed during the interview. You must be able to reliably commuteto Cheltenham for this role.

About You:

Were looking for a selfmotivated enthusiastic project managerwho is committed to perpetual learning and wants to contribute tosolving one of the greatest problems of our time. You will have amature outlook and strong work ethic a belief that collectiveachievement is intrinsically a product of hard work and application.

What will I spend my day on at Noriker

  • Plan design implement and manage Norikers O&M strategy as amember of the project team.

  • Supportdifferent stages of the project process from an early project rightsdevelopment stage through to build commissioning and operations

  • Ensureoperations interests are met during construction and commissioning

  • Prepare andconduct hand over process from construction to operations

  • Build localregional and international O&M networks developing trustedinternal and external relationships with prospective projectpartners and promote the development of local supply chains todeliver O&M capabilities

  • Be responsiblefor the delivery schedule of the O&M package identifyingtechnical commercial and programme issues and solutions to resolve

  • Supportmonitoring of technical components / logistical elements of theprojects and ensure strong feedback loop into project designsafety processes and monitoring and control systems.

  • Communicationof lessons learned as well as identification of continuousimprovement opportunities

  • Assist inbusiness development and project development collaborating withproject managers/project engineers to ensure project success

What skills will I need to succeed in the role

  • Educated to degree level in a STEM subject or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrableexperience in an engineering environment

  • Highlyorganised able to work to tight deadlines and committed toexcellence

  • A positiveselfmotivated and accountable problem solver

  • Excellentcommunication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and theability to manage multiple projects

  • IT andleadership skills are desirable

  • Familiar withUK regulatory and HSE regulations and compliance framework

  • Electrical/power engineering background is highly desirable

  • Strong sense ofresponsibility and contribution to common goals

  • Eligible towork permanently in the UK
