Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER TREND CONTROL SYSTEMS

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with proven expertise in Trend Control Systems. This role is on a fulltime permanent basis servicing our clients various contracts in the South East region of England.

Project Engineer Duties:

• reposnible for delivering small projects on time and within budget;
  
• review handover of project technical compliance to specification and financial obligations against what was sold compared to what is contracted;
  
• raise with interested parties all as sold specification drawings and queries;
  

issue weekly project reports to clients internal and external;

• submit technical submittals for approval for description of operations points lists panel design valve selections and data sheets;
  
• assist and / or source subcontractors for panels and installations;
  
• assist the team with the creation and issue of programs of works to suppliers and subcontractors;
  
• responsible for procuring of equipment;
  
• valuing subcontractors monthly claims and variations;and
  
• carrying out site works software design installation commissioning O&M manual production and handover as required and liaise and manage operational staff.
  

Project Engineer Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge:

• Previous Engineering Experience of Trend Control Systems (including Distech);
  
• Second system engineering capability;
  
• Software production or modification and graphics creation;
  
• Able to read and work from electrical / panel drawings; and
  
• Previous experience of working in a projects engineering environment.
  

Qualifications:

• NVQ 3 or equivalent;
  
• CSCS Card; and
  
• Ipaf or Pasma
  

Personal Qualities / Skills:

• Valid driving licence;
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook;
  
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; and
  
• Selfmotivated.
  

Project Engineer Offer:

Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable 40 hour week;

Salary ranging between $50k to 60k Depending on Experience 24.05ph to 28.85ph;

25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);

Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution 5% employee);

Overtime available but not guaranteed;

Tablet and phone;

Company uniform;

Company works vehicle; and

employee referral scheme of 1000.
