Project Control Engineer

Job Description

• Prepares preliminary budgets and timelines.
• Develop project schedules using P6 or MSP for Small / medium Projects.
• Reviews, gives comments all the planning documents, submitted by the Contractor.
• Participates in reviewing and commenting all submitted method statements before its scheduled start on site.
• Monitors Contractor’s progress according to the approved time program
• Checks Contractor’s resources on site and compares these with weekly reports.
• Maintains a site diary through report collection and site visits.
• Determines causes of delay-if any- and advises the Projects Manager on suggested remedial measures.
• Participates in reviewing and assessing all claims submitted by the Contractor.
• Review & comment submitted Vos.
• Follow-up with the approved Budget.
• Manages construction projects to ensure time-scales, specifications, quality and costs are achieved within approved parameters as well as plans, establishes overall objectives, financials, scope of works and master timelines.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Architecture)
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
• The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
