Programme Policy Officer

1.Conceptualize and design EPR/DRR integrated technical assistance packages in close collaboration with the requesting institution/government body and relevant partners and articulate the WFP value proposition.

2.Establish and nurture partnerships with relevant institutional stakeholders (National Center for Security and Crises Management, Department of Civil Defense, Department of Statistics, Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Specialized research centers, Universities….), international stakeholders (UNDP, bilateral development agencies …) and national organizations (Royal Scientific Society …).

3.Strengthen the connection between WFP’s EPR/DRR technical assistance and other organizations’ projects and initiatives to optimize convergence, concentration, coverage and capacities and ultimately maximize the impact of our interventions.

4.Lead on the implementation of the EPR/DRR technical assistance packages to government partners (technical guidance and training, partnership management, project management…).

5.Lead on the evidence generation agenda, in close collaboration with the VAM-M&E unit, in order to measure the institutional benefits of WFP’s EPR/DRR capacity strengthening interventions.
