About the Role:

The Production Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering team ensuring the efficient management of resources and successful completion of projects. This role is central to enhancing process efficiency and product quality with a strong focus on safety and compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team to achieve operational targets and improve process efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans monitor critical processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures and support CNC programming for new products.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and coordinate with various departments to optimize production.
  • Manage and evaluate team performance through KPIs and provide necessary training and development.
  • Oversee budget preparation and control ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead new technology investments.
  • Report directly to the QA and Engineering Director.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations including 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Expertise in precision machining process control and preferably a background in design and material heat treatment.
  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma (Black or Green Belt certification is a plus) and 5S practices.
  • Exceptional leadership planning and problemsolving skills with a strong customer orientation.
  • University degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
