Product Management Internship (m/f/x)

We are creating a future where unlimited machine uptime is the norm, by automating machine diagnostics for the manufacturing industry with a scalable and easy-to-use AI sensor solution. AiSight is featured in the Forbes 30under30 2020 Europe Manufacturing category. We are growing our brand and customer base to achieve our ambitious company goals. To strengthen our team even more we are looking for a Product Management Intern (m/f/x) to support us with customer and product discovery activities and related research.

Tasks

• You will support our product team on day-to-day tasks related to product discovery and delivery
• You learn and help us improve our product management process based on continuous discovery habits
• You perform competitor research and analysis to help us understand the market and improve our product
• You will participate in discovery interviews and further discovery experiments
• You will support us in organizing discovery results and our product documentation

Opportunity for growth over time:

• Independent execution of customer interviews and experiments

Requirements

• Confident handling of common MS Office programs, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• You have strong analytical competencies
• You can work independently in a structured and goal-oriented manner
• You are a tech navy and can easily navigate through different software tools
• Good writing and verbal skills in English are a must, German is a big plus

You will succeed in your role if you:

• You are currently in / have already completed Bachelor s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related degree program
• You are interested in IoT, technology, manufacturing, and product shaping
• You have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Would be great if you bring this additional knowledge:

• Ideally, experience with Confluence and Jira
• Experience using Miro

AiSight builds a plug-and-play hardware and software solution that uses machine data, to predict and prevent machine malfunction using self-learning AI algorithms. This tremendously increases machine uptime, output and productivity and significantly cuts companies service and maintenance costs.

Our company was founded in July 2018 by Matthias and Max, they made it into the world s largest hardware Accelerator Program, based in San Francisco and Shenzen - HAX - and received its first Investment from SOSV. At this time they met Renan who joined AiSight as CTO, and together they participated in the HAX program in Shenzen for 3 months to develop the first sensor prototypes. In October they received a seed round of $2.5 milion closed with Palo Alto-based Merus Capital and HAX/SOSV signing on as investors. Many major multinational companies started using the AiSight solution.

In September 2021, AiSight was acquired by Sensirion which is a leading global manufacturer of high quality sensors and systems. We are proud and happy to be part of Sensirion's success story and look forward to the time ahead. At the moment we are a team of 48 people and the team is getting bigger and bigger, we expect to be 100 employees by the end of 2022.

Our Team is holding master s degrees from respected universities such as ETH Zurich, ESCP Europe, UC Berkeley and Zeppelin University. Additionally, we have many years of professional experience at companies like Porsche, ABB, MTU Aero Engines, Holtzbrinck Digital, BASF, BTG Pactual or and multiple startups in Silicon Valley, Southeast Asia, Brazil and Berlin.
