Role & responsibilities
Collaborate with the development and design team to discuss product ideas
Evaluate product feasibility costs and calculate the estimated return on investments
Analyze market and industry product trends
Develop product ideas based on budgets market research and customer preferences
Create initial drafts and sketches of product designs using computer software
Conduct testing on product prototypes
Create product samples using modeling techniques or 3D printers
Select product materials and optimize the product manufacturing process
Oversee production and ensure that products meet market specifications and safety regulations
Participate in product design and development activities including creating and maintaining design documentation.
Assist in prototyping designing components and developing product features.
Conduct product testing to identify and report bugs or issues.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and performance.
Assist in writing and maintaining test scripts and test cases.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers product managers (BAs) and other engineers to ensure the product aligns with the overall vision and objectives.
Communicate effectively within the team providing regular updates on your progress and seeking guidance when necessary.
Help identify and resolve functional issues and challenges during product development.
Continuously aware and adapting to new technologies and engineering practices.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the products you work on including code comments system architecture and user manuals.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in engineering or MBA MSC (IT or related) B.Sc. BBA or a related field.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work.
Familiarity with any programming language server or database is a plus.
Internships or personal projects related to product development or engineering are a bonus.
SCRUM certification is a plus.
