Job Description
We are looking for talented product engineer to join the Product Development team based in Tuscany (Querceta Lucca). You will participate to develop luxury design projects from concept generation to production.
You will apply datadriven insights to generate differentiated and innovative design solutions that meet the needs. You will become part of a dynamic and transversal team following the entire development and design process of the products including the certifications and the production.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use computer software to engineer all technical details of Salvatoris products from the first prototype to the final design
Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements following the time planning
Work with other specialists to evaluate whether if the design concepts will meet the feasibility of the products
Evaluate product safety appearance quality standards and function to determine if the design represents a luxury product
Present designs to stakeholders for approval
Work in team with Designers Production Customer Care Marketing and Suppliers to find out if the designs are feasible and to apply colleagues professional expertise to the designs
Draft of product/quality sheets and coding product items
Participate actively in the mockups creation
Requisiti
Bachelor s or master s degree in Design&Engineering Product Engineering Architecture (or equivalent)
At least 2 years experience in a product engineering position
A strong sense for materials and finishes
Collaborate in team with the most diverse stakeholders (Designers Sales Customer Care Marketing Manufacturing Suppliers) to follow and support projects from concept stage to production
Generate structural design concepts and ideas based on project design briefs and cross functional team inputs and discussions
Knowledge of the main technical 2D and 3D drawing programs (Autocad SolidWorks Rhinoceros)
Microsoft Office
Professional Italian and English (at least Oxford B2 or equivalent)
Disruptive creative and innovative
Enterprising and optimistic
Communication negotiation and problem solving skills
Location Querceta (LU) availability to travel
Car driving license
