The Plant Engineer plans, designs, develops and manages plant operational improvements, capital projects and cost improvement projects
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in an engineering or technical role in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of plant food manufacturing or packaging is desired
- Design and develop new machinery, equipment and infrastructure projects for the facility
- 2+ years experience in LEAN manufacturing principles and activities
- Possess advanced technical skills in the mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering
- Experience with food plant GMP s and equipment layout designs
- Knowledgeable of maintenance systems, work order process, preventive/predictive maintenance
- Must be fluent in CAD, preferably AutoCad
- Strong interpersonal, technical and presentation skills
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
