Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership and supervision to a team of physiotherapists ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care in alignment with hospital standards
2. Oversee the assessment and treatment of patients guiding physiotherapists in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
3. Conduct regular performance evaluations for physiotherapy staff providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development
4. Collaborate with departmental leaders to establish and implement policies procedures and protocols to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of physiotherapy services
5. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new physiotherapy staff ensuring a smooth integration into the hospital team
6. Coordinate and lead departmental meetings inservice training and professional development activities for physiotherapy staff
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and administrators to optimize patient care and outcomes
8. Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards within the physiotherapy department
9. Stay abreast of industry trends research and advancements incorporating best practices into the departments operations
10. Act as a resource for physiotherapy staff providing guidance on complex cases and facilitating continuous learning

Qualifications

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
2. Minimum of years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist in a hospital setting
3. Current state licensure and CPR certification
4. Proven leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
6. Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development
8. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
