Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our talented team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at WTCP you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. Our client aims to provide a safe comfortable place for people to ask questions they might hesitate to ask in more formal care settings in the hope that they can make healthrelated decisions with more confidence and better care for their own and their familys health. Here customers can meet with a Health Advisor a qualified LVN/LPN who not only can answer questions about medications but also sit down in a more private format to help patients and their caregivers understand and manage ongoing health concerns introduce them to the latest in digital health solutions assist them in making healthy lifestyle choices and more.

• The locations are in and around Hamilton NJ
• The working schedule for this role is set where the floater could be called on Monday Friday 9 AM 5:30 PM to pick up shifts where needed. There is a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
• The LPN will be helping on the front lines of the Covid19 Pandemic!
• This is a 6month assignment with a strong possibility of extension
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer or sooner based on the onboarding speed

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee Health Corner activities and provide both instore and online diagnostic devices and solutions and assist with proper use of devices to all customers
• Performs gap closure activity as outlined and escalates issues as needed
• Evaluates customers needs and can advocates on patients behalf to connect them to resources services and potential solutions related to their health condition
• Provides patients with education on the proper use and setup of diagnostic device (ie. Blood pressure machine blood glucose monitors pulse oximeter etc).
• Effectively communicates with agency staff liaisons other Care Facility staff patients and family/caregivers
• Manages Time effectively to deliver accurate and appropriate patient care
• Maintains Confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Maintains a professional image
• Participates and attends required in services trainings and weekly meetings
• Build and maintain a working relationship with the front end and pharmacy team to enhance patient engagement and experience
• Ensure all provided marketing informational and educational materials are available
• Ability to navigate technology to document interactions following standard procedure for Health Corner Operations
• Assisting patients in aisle by providing them education on OTC and first aid products escorting patient to pharmacy for patient specific questions
• Maintains Health Corner space to brand standards provided by Walgreens and keeps organized records in Health space in accordance with compliance policies
• Upkeep functionality of technology to ensure ability to properly capture service

Basic Qualifications:

• Must reside local to the job site to be able to commute
• Active LVN/LPN license by State Board of Professional Regulations
• At least 6 MONTHS experience as an LPN/LVN providing nursing care. Selfdirected with excellent time management skills and able to work independently as well as under the supervision of a registered nurse or another clinician
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current CPR/BLS certification up to date on Blood borne pathogen training
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with team members patients caregivers physicians and referral sources
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours
• Comfortable with digital technologies such as website forms mobile applications PC/tablet systems instore systems and connected healthcare devices
• Ability to work under stressful conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Two years of experience working in a retail/clinic environment
• Prior knowledge of local healthcare systems and health plans a plus
• Experience in assisting customers to resolve complex issues
