Patent trademark Attorney

Job Description

• Provides legal advice and representation to individuals and businesses seeking patent, trademark, or copyright protection.
• Evaluates viability of patent and trademark requests; completes and files trademark, service mark, patent, and copyright registrations and applications.
• Evaluate evidence in infringement or dilution cases.
• Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings.
• Manages and participates in litigation of cases involving intellectual property disputes.
• Interviews and deposes witnesses and further facilitates the discovery process.
• Maintains knowledge of scientific, technological, and legal developments including completion of continuing legal education.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
