Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a Sterile Processing Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Newport OR 97365

Assignment Start Date: 3/21/2024

13 weeks Days 812hour shift 40 hours/weekly guaranteed

Responsible for processing and maintaining instruments equipment and supplies in assigned areas. Works with management to provide sterile instruments and equipment prepares procedure and surgical case carts and assists in the optimal functioning of assigned areas.

DEPARTMENT

The Sterile Processing team significantly contributes to patient care by preparing equipment and rooms for surgery. We are responsible for the cleaning decontamination disinfection and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and medical devices to remove bioburden that can cause healthcareacquired infections (HAIs).

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience
• Must be a wellrounded sterile processing tech who can function comfortably in a variety of specialties excluding vascular and cardiac.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• National Certification such as CSPDT or CRCST is required.

Shift: Varies rotating weekends
