RockAsphalt is looking for a Videographer to produce high-quality video content for our organization that aligns with the brand, mission, and goals of our company. YOU are the key to spearheading that initiative. As the visual storyteller for our company, you ll be responsible for storyboarding, shooting and editing footage, managing creative assets, and maintaining all video equipment.

Our vision is to have our product in the hands of every city, county, and government entity in the United States and visually documenting our asphalt material is essential to achieving this goal. About the Position

You will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production. These duties may include the transport, setup, and operation of equipment; and assisting with staging, set preparation, and dressing. You will travel alongside sales representatives as they visit customers and document their repairs with our material. You will work closely with and report to the Creative Content Manager to execute projects from concept through completion.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing dynamic and authentic customer-focused video content
  • Developing internal training and onboarding videos for future employees
  • Creating, managing, and scheduling video content calendar
  • Storyboarding, scripting, and conceptualizing video ideas
  • Editing and formatting raw footage for each applicable platform
  • Determining what camera equipment is necessary and obtain equipment if needed
  • Transporting, setting up, and operating various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
  • Operating and maintaining proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Frequently travelling to various filming locations (customer job sites, tradeshows, etc.)
  • Collecting b-roll footage, as well as interviewing appropriate staff and/or clients
  • Assisting in the social-sharing of the video content
  • Most commonly, you will be responsible for single-camera shoots
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
  • Supporting the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to management
  • Helping to sustain and guide video creative process
  • Assisting in maintaining the video hosting platform and understanding best practices
  • Assisting in developing interview questions and storyboards
  • Staying up-to-date with all new technological advances (VR, AR , etc.)


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in film, digital media, or communications
  • 3+ years of professional video production/editing working experience
  • Proficient with Video Editing Software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie)
  • Expertise with high-quality camera equipment (cameras, tripods, gimbals, microphones, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Motion, Photoshop, and Illustrator are preferred)
  • Experience with social media and hosting platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo)
  • Proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and conceptualizing video assets
  • Understand basic and advanced composition techniques
  • Understand the fundamentals of branding
  • Ability to coach, direct, and interview video subjects
  • Very detail oriented and able to identify quality issues in audio and video
