Job Description

Officer, Risk, Audit, Compliance, Resource Planning, Performance Monitoring and Control


  • Working Location: Brussels, Belgium
  • Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Language: High proficiency level in English language



EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

University degree from an institute of recognised standing, or an equivalent level of qualification, in a field relevant for this position
Deep knowledge of the regulatory environment, particularly in the areas of audit, financial oversight and workforce management
Good knowledge of management practices and procedures, as well as flexibility and excellent drafting skills
Capable of representing the Secretariat in dealings with senior NATO staff
Able to research, interpret and analyse information from a variety of sources, and identifying emerging trends and corporate planning
Able to design and implement planning and performance measurement frameworks

DUTIES/ROLE:
Provide staff support, including drafting fully staffed products and provision of advice on policy and regulatory compliance for consideration by the NCI Organisation Governing Bodies
Coordinate and work closely with the Head of Secretariat to ensure delivery of assigned work and product development, also by coordinating within the team and with other members of the NCI Organisation, particularly the NCI Agency, Allies and other stakeholders
Provide analytical and evaluation support and will liaise with Allies, the International Staff, International Military Staff and customers in order to develop common approaches to issues and generate consensus
Provides well-researched and substantiated advice to the Head Secretariat on a wide range of policy and compliance issues
Perform any other related duty as assigned
