The National Programme Officer is working as a local employee of the Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan under the overall guidance of the Deputy Regional Head of Cooperation/Head of Jordan Program and closely coordinates with the Regional Advisor on Water and Sanitation. S/he contributes to the overall Jordan program and manages a number of projects and partnerships as part of the Swiss Cooperation Programme Middle East 2019 -2022 with a particular focus on the domain Water and Sanitation. The list of tasks includes the following:
- Context analysis: Monitor of context development related to the specific thematic responsibility.
- Portfolio planning, strategic steering, and reporting: Contribute to the overall operational, administrative and financial planning, monitoring and steering of the Jordan portfolio. Manage domain related communication material, project-specific reporting and ensure the timely preparation and compilation of relevant documents.
