Murex MxML Developer

We are looking for a motivated Murex MxML Developer to work with the Portuguese entity of a large multinational financial services firm specializing in Asset & Wealth Management Corporate & Investment Banking.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Murexrelated components and workflows.
  
• Perform Murex configuration for fronttoback office operations including trade capture pretrade/posttrade rules confirmations settlements accounting and reporting.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  
• Conduct Murex version upgrades and patches ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
  
• Provide technical expertise and support for the Murex environment including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
  
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the teams knowledge base.
  

Requirements

Qualifications Main Technical Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Murex development.
  
• Proficiency in Murex 3.1 modules including Datamart MXML and MLC.
  
• Strong experience with Murex integration including MxML Exchange workflows and API development.
  
• Knowledge of financial markets instruments and fronttoback trade lifecycle.
  
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting languages.
