Urgent requirement of Oracle Database Support Engineer - Contract - Canberra

Requirements

• The ORACLE Database Support (Contractor) is required to provide ORACLE database support in regard to FiberBase V6.1 Network Planning Software for the ICON section of the Department of Finance
  
• In this architecture, data is written from FiberBases ORACLE database to a central OSDS, where data from multiple applications is merged
  
• The software allows ICON to store, view and change all features of its infrastructure, such as links, cables, Points of Presence, Splice Pits, Haul Pits, Zone Boxes and Access Boxes
  
• The service arrangement includes ORACLE database support, for FiberBase including but not limited to issues that need to be resolved including identifying the cause and remediation of any outages
  
• Creation of new users and/or provide instructions for Finance administrators to create new users and remove users
  
• Very Good Communication Skills
  

Desirable:

• The successful supplier will need to have an understanding of the Finance environment or similar environment and/or a history of supporting similar environments
  
• Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance is required for the performance of the services
  

Duration: 12 Months and possible extension
