Job Description

Penobscot Valley Hospital a critical access hospital in Lincoln Maine is seeking qualified MT or MLT for 13 week assignment. Must have graduated from an approved program; 312 hour shifts (after 1st week of training). Rotate weekends (usually every 5th weekend); no call; Fill in Thursday night shift and can pick up vacancies if not filled with regular staff; Microbiology preferred and if not gram stains planting cultures blood cultures a must. Start date: April 22nd. Must be proficient in phlebotomy.Must be able to do Blood Bank testingWill work holidays as needed (done on a rotating basis)Be proficient with Covid regulations (PPE isolation rooms etc)Must be able to multitask and prioritize.Ability to work alone.Must be able to communicate proficiently
