Job Description
Aim of the job:
- To assist Mill Manager to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies, procedures and standing instructions
Main responsibilities and activities:
- To Ensure all mill machines are well maintained for optimum operation of the processes
- Supervise subordinates to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installation of parts and machines
- Prepare daily/monthly/yearly reports and ensure engineers log book is filled for proper shift handover
- Comply with all the quality standards practiced in the mill
- Implement preventive maintenance program for all plant and machineries
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
- Ensure prompt actions/troubleshooting is taken when processing losses exceed the standard and provide an adequate explanation for any deviation from the limits.
- Ensure the ISO/MSPO matters complied up to the standard
Requirements
- Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience
- Possess at least 2nd Grade Steam Engineer s certificate of competency for Senior Mill Engineer
- Possess adequate leadership abilities to lead subordinates
- Able to arrange manpower and assign tasks to subordinates
- Able to prepare reports and paperwork related to mill operations
- Able to perform immediate troubleshooting when necessary
