Discipline:Sign Language Interpreter
Location:Near Taccoa Falls, GA
Hours Per Week:Full time -35hours per week
Caseload:1 Grade School level child
Start Date:ASAP through the end of the 22-23 school year.
Description:
We are currentlylooking for a passionate fulltimeSign Language Interpreter to fill a vacant position through the end of the school year.
This position will guarantee the candidate full time hoursthrough the end of the year,with placement opportunities within the school district,dependent upon performanceonce the assignment is complete.
TheSLI willfacilitate communication between hearing and deaf or hard of hearing individuals in classrooms and meetings using American Sign Language or other manual sign system; serves as a liaison between deaf or hard of hearing students, hearing students and instructors; and performs related work as required.

Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent
EIPA scores of 3.5 or higher required.
Experience working with pediatrics preferred.
