General Summary:
As a Radiographer you will provide a full range of comprehensive diagnostic imaging and treatment services throughout the University of Maryland Medical Center working closely with other medical and surgical staff in a stateoftheart all digital PACS environment. Under general supervision perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnostics.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Clinical Practice Patient Care Operates the technical equipment and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with standard operating procedures according to the Diagnostic Imaging Departments Policy and Procedures manual.
- Demonstrates basic clinical competence in Fluoroscopy pediatrics trauma trauma OR general OR emergency xray orthopedic clinic portable radiography and diagnostic imaging.
- Demonstrates basic competencies in processing
Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered or Registryeligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
- CPR certification is required.
