The Role :
Hybrid - Tampa, Florida (Near Clearwater)
Full-time position.
We are looking for a Sr Project Manager that will be working with one of our main clients. Their duties will include managing, planning and coordinating multiple projects, programs, and activities to improve processes and services.
What you ll do?
- Oversee multiple project leaders to achieve project objectives on time, within cost, and ensuring quality.
- Research and become well-informed of customers needs, identify program needs, considers available processes, and services, and develop processes that streamline services.
- Develop project specifications and objectives from introduction to delivery.
- Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority within defined Project Delivery Methodology based on Agile development practices.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
Requirements
- A bachelors degree.
- Relevant experience managing IT projects with track record of successful completion.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
Additional Requirements - a plus to have:
- Certifications in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, etc.)
- Experience using MS Office suite, project tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in an Agile Project Management Environment (Scrum) environment.
- Familiarity with PEO (professional employer organization) industry, payroll processing, employment insurance, or employee benefits experience
