Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for Maths.
• Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance achievements and behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Stay uptodate with the latest developments in Maths education attending professional development sessions as required.

Requirements

• Qualified Maths Teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level.
• Exceptional knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents/guardians.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
