Job Description
The Role
As a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO), the Master Systems Integrator Project Manager (MSI PM) will lead a team of project managers managing the installation of technical systems to work cohesively as designed for a large-scale IoT/Smart City development in Bangkok, Thailand.
The MSI PM will conduct, lead, review designs, and provide guidance and technical expertise for requirements and specifications on the project.
They should not only know how to bring together multiple teams to deliver great results on a huge scale, but also recognise technology, process and organisational problems, and be driven to fix them.
Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and supervise a diverse team of customers, managers, stakeholders, consultants and suppliers to:
deliver the smart services blueprint; and
define the business needs and objectives of smart services, infrastructure and platforms, and application systems development.
Requirements
Ideally, the MSI PM should have deep demonstrable experience in:
managing portfolios/programmes of projects to successful completion;
Internet of Things (IoT) / smart cities / smart services delivery;
software / network engineering;
telecommunications infrastructure / operations.
as well as:
a BSc (or higher) in a technical discipline;
PMI certification (or comparable professional project management body) ;
5+ years of direct project management leadership experience;
first-hand knowledge of what a good PMO looks like with a track record of continuous improvement in a new product development environment;
