Job Description
Establish standard working methods, carry out time and movement studies, prepare routings, rebalance (link removed)troduces new products, transfer production lines, design workstations and assembly lines.Implement improvements in equipment and workstations to optimize processes.Document processes to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Standardize and document manufacturing processes: flow charts, layouts, work instructions, tool and fixture drawings.
Support in the introduction of new products and derivatives: design of workstations, toolings, fixtures and tools, preparation of work instructions and routings.
Support in the implementation of Productivity, Quality and Engineering projects.
Participate in the preparation and updating of PFMEAs and develop RPN reduction projects.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective actions related to processes.
Ensure safe and ergonomic work methods and resolve opportunities for improvement quickly and proactively.
Manage and optimize the use of space in the Production area.
Work as a team with the departments involved to implement continuous improvement actions (SMED, poka-yokes, kanban, etc.)
Actively participate in kaizen events and other Continuous Improvement activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Required:
Professional career in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma, preferably.
Experience in the use of Lean Manufacturing tools
Use of design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, CATIA, Pro-E)
English 80%

Interpretation of plans and diagrams (GD&T)
Analysis and solution of problems
Project management
Statistical processes control
Knowledge of workstation design and ergonomics
Use of SAP, Windchill and Minitab, preferably

ISO 9001: Quality and EHS Policies.
ISO 14001: Water Conservation, Segregation, Aspect & Impact, Contamination and control ground prevention, Energy conservation.
OSHAS 18001: Hazardous & Risk Matrix, Emergency Evacuation Plan, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazardous substances (Use and handling); Signal and color codes.
