Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)

Job Description

• Maintain and repair machinery equipment and systems in the bakery
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with machines and tools
• Collaborate with the production team to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery
• Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Essential Qualifications

• Prior experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• This is a 2nd shift
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Desired Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of food industry equipment and safety regulations
• Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Heavy electrical experience
