Position: Magellan Platform Developer
Location: Charlotte NC/Denver CO/Louisville KY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months Contract
Client: Apex / Charter Communications Louisville
Pay Rate: $55/hr. on W2 With NO Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for the Magellan engineering platform using Node.js.
- Lead MongoDB integration and optimization efforts focusing on platform performance and scalability.
- Work alongside frontend developers and system architects to ensure a cohesive user experience across the platform.
- Implement software development best practices including code refactoring unit testing and continuous integration to maintain code quality and application performance.
- Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Explore and integrate new technologies and methodologies such as AWS for cloud services and graph databases for complex data relationships.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in software development network engineering technologies and microservices architecture to enhance the Magellan platform.
