Scope

The Machine Operator will be mainly responsible for monitoring maintaining and operating assigned machines cleaning and qualitychecking all machinery to ensure everything works as it should and works at capacity without issue and is appropriately maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  
• Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
  
• Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair which includes the ability to read electronic/hydraulic schematics.
  
• Ensure all installations and operations conform to the company s standards and customer requirements.
  
• Plan and run maintenance checks on all electrical equipment and machinery as and when needed.
  
• Adhere to maintenance and repair schedules involving the installation and maintenance of systems.
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related field
  
• Minimum four (4) years experience in the same or similar role.
  
• Ability to install and set up various electrical machinery
  
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  
• Ability to work with the engineering group to improve the performance of the equipment.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment/machine repairs.
  
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  
• Strong technical problemsolving innovative and critical thinking skills.
  
• Must be a good team player and detailoriented.
