Linux Kernel Development Engineer

8 years of experience and Solid knowledge of the C programming language

Indepth understanding of operating systems concepts data structures processor architecture and virtualization

Expertise in Linux Kernel internals and/or hypervisor technologies in Linux including but not limited to KVM QEMU libvirt

Handson experience of architecting atleast one or more features in Linux kernel

Solid understanding and experience with the Linux kernel and related upstream development workflow

Experience with working on open source software using tools such git and associated community participation processes.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :

Prior exposure to opensource community work

A successful engineer in this role will be well recognized in the external and opensource communities and internally and Influence technology roadmaps.

Desire to develop career in the areas of opensource Linux Operating Systems.
