Linux Administrator (m/f/d)

We're a small, 100% DevOps startup from Germany and one of our clients asked us to help look for a Linux Administrator / Kubernetes Specialist in Warsaw, Poland, this is everything in a nutshell:

• Salary up to 60K (gross) depending on experience level
• Small, focussed teams from all over the world
• You would be working for a German, large multinational client in the manufacturing industry (60.000 employees)
• Focus on AWS, Kubernetes and Ci/Cd
• well-maintained code bases, minimum technical debt, stored in Github & Bitbucket, GitOps, documentation in confluence/jira
• Quiet working conditions, flexible working hours, remote work possible and encouraged
• No work outside of business hours (e.g. weekends) due to blue green deployments & canary releases

Tasks

We are building our positions around your personal skills, so you don't need to be an expert in all the listed requirements, the following topics are waiting for you:

Everything as Code (IaC, CaC...)

• Work with tools like Terraform, HELM, Ansible

Full stack DevOps

• Design Infrastructure and workflows for us and our customers

• Build Infrastructure as Code modules for deployments

• Build Pipelines for automatic roll-outs

• Build Front-ends to utilize our solutions

• GitOps at it's core

Infrastructure / workflow design

• Design workflows with automation at it s core

• Design Cloud Infrastructure for different clouds

• Automate everything

• Everything Cloud-native

• Monitor every Part of our solutions, from security to usability, from our docker containers to our Terraform modules

• As part of an agile team, you will ensure that Team XALT and the client are aware of operational and infrastructure requirements and challenges for software delivery

• You and your team will be directly involved in the development and testing of deployment pipelines, automated infrastructure provisioning and infrastructure support.

• You will work with practices like Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery (CD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming

• You support your team as well as our customers with agile best practices

• You have the opportunity to advance your career and collaborate directly with AWS experts.

Requirements

• You are hands-on and passionate about building secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure and know how to communicate effectively within your team
• You are familiar with Infrastructure tools, container technology (Docker), public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), configuration and deployment management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), continuous delivery infrastructure (e.g. Jenkins) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenStack)
• You have a Consulting Mindset and love to stay up to date on the latest technologies, promote knowledge sharing and close collaboration
• Experience working with Agile and pair programming is desirable
