Skill Set

Minimum 5 year of experience in an end-to-end implementation of Liferay Portal.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Liferay DXP

Good understanding of web portal technology (architecture, development, deployment)

Strong Liferay development experience (hooks, themes, portlets, extensions, SSO, Roles & Permissions, IPC, I18N)

Well-versed with OSGi framework.

Strong concept of object-oriented and design principles, design patterns and software architecture

Strong experience in JUnit and familiarity with Test Driven Design

Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST)

Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Experience troubleshooting Liferay deployment issues

Experience with relational databases, Eclipse, issue tracking, and revision control (specifically Subversion and/or Git)

Experience with build tools (specifically Maven & Gradle)

Experience with continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins or Hudson)

Experience developing software in a Linux, Windows, and/or Mac environment

SQL Database Knowledge

Connection Monitoring and Troubleshooting.

Stage Deployments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).JAVA and strong understanding of SDLC.

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure) Cloud (Any)

Job Description

A Sr. developer, who would be responsible for Application development, unit testing & defect fixing

Role & Responsibilities

Analyze the requirements and implement technical solutions

Take ownership of the application development and ensure quality deliverables through best practices.

Support in product deployment activities

Provide regular updates to lead/Architect on implementation progress and outstanding issues

Manage technical rollouts and post-deliverable activities

Identify technical risks and mitigation plans

Should be able to manage the application demo

Mandatory Skills

Liferay DXP (7.+), JavaJ2EE

SQL Database Knowledge

HTML and Client-Side Scripting (JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML).

Stage Deployments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).JAVA and strong understanding of SDLC.

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure) Cloud (Any)
