Web Technologies team is responsible for installs configurations maintenance upgrades hardware migrations patch management troubleshooting repair performance tuning incident / problem resolution as well as monitoring and providing 24x7 support. In addition the group is engaged in setup deploys security management capacity management and will coordinate backup/restore and system recovery activities. It also supports infrastructure architecture application integration projects setup and deployments.
This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of primarily Liferay technology and other technologies also need to work on automation of repeatable processes where possible and work with the team to design build and support a robust. As a Liferay and web admin implement best practices for security and web operations for Liferay applications and other web applications.
Skills:
Strong experience in Liferay DXP development and administration.
Strong experience in development frameworks like OSGi Spring and Hibernate.
Experience in frontend technologies like angular and bootstrap.
Strong experience in RESTful / SOAP web services and knowledge of SOA architecture.
Experience with authentication mechanisms like SAML 2.0 OAUTH 2.0.
Experience with pertinent software tools (Jenkins Artifactory GitHub Maven Docker etc.)
Proven ability to develop architectures that incorporate high availability nd operational scalability.
Experience in securing applications as per OWASP and CWE industry standards.
Experience in waterfall agile and test driven methodologies.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery principles practices tools and process
Expertise in modern Integration APIs and virtualization concerns is essential
Ability to render system design details in sequence and flow diagrams and other forms of documentation when required
Ability to communicate complex architectures and insights in a clear precise and actionable manner
Good understanding of Network layer OS layer and backend like Oracle DB LDAP.
Experience with scripting languages like bash Groovy Python javascript.
Responsible for maintenance of liferay portals.
Responsible for liferay elasticsearch its enhancements and patching.
Write review and approve automation code / script.
Work with Project teams to build automation pipelines for application environment deployments
Provide Integration architectural design for applications and IT Integration deployments
Provide 3rd level operational support for Integration sites.
Will be expected to interface and support incident resolution with 1st and 2nd level support teams with all IT problems high priority issues related to Integration.
Apply experience technical knowledge and innovative techniques to resolve complex Operations challenges.
