- Broad experience in general commercial transactional real estate: acquisitions, sales, financings, like-kind exchanges for retail, office and industrial development projects.
- Extensive experience with conducting detailed title and survey analysis for potential developments.
- Ability to perform basic legal drafting of purchase agreements, sale agreements, closing documents, etc.
- Ability to independently conduct closings of acquisitions, sales and financing transactions.
- Basic understanding of leasing; ability to abstract a commercial lease.
- Review, confirm and summarize leases, appraisals,legal descriptions of property, property condition reports, environmental reports, zoning reports and licenses.
- Manage communication, document execution and workflow for closings of acquisitions.
- Review and confirm closing statements, including tax prorations and other fees/charges.
