Job Description

  • This role would be responsible for all learning & development activities as well as the onboarding activities. To foster employee growth, enhance skills and ultimately drive both individual and organizational success.

Responsibilities:

1-Health & Safety:

  • Implement and adhere to health & safety policies & procedures to maintain Lafarge as a safe working place

2-Functional:

  • Responsible for conducting the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the country yearly.
  • Assess training needs, design and implement learning strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the in-house, public, and online trainings as well as the coaching and job shadowing activities.
  • Research for the training suppliers and materials for public trainings as needed – including details, cost comparison, and timelines in alignment with the procurement department.
  • Create training materials, presentations, eLearning modules, and other resources to support training initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and L&D to continuously improve L&D programs.
  • Ensure all company’s mandatory and core training is completed, including, but not limited to (Legal & Compliance, Internal Control, etc.)
  • Maintain all training courses and programs’ materials (internal/external).
  • Implement and administer the logistics needed for training programs (internal/external) through scheduling/coordinating training venue, date/time, materials, attendance, certificates, etc.
  • Collect feedback and conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as needed.
  • Accountable for the L&D database through collecting, compiling, and reporting training data from the different stakeholders, not limited to evaluation and attendance, to be reported monthly to the region/group.
  • Responsible for L&D inbox in terms of training invites and any received inquiries.
  • Accountable for training supplies availability and L&D center preparations/readiness.
