Lab Specialist

Job Description

• Assembles and operates common laboratory equipment such as pH meters, balances…etc in a proper way.
• Prepares and distributes laboratory chemicals, materials and equipment in advance according to lab syllabus
• Assists lab instructor, teaching assistants and students during lab session (technical support).
• Assists lab instructor, teaching assistants and students during lab session (technical support).
• Performs routine maintenance of equipment in chemistry labs.
• Collects and disposes of hazardous waste materials according to Zewail City regulations.
• Participates in storage equipment and materials.
• Orders of materials, equipment and chemicals for the labs.
• Maintains an updated inventory for chemicals and equipment.
• Be familiar with safety precautions.

• Bachelor degree in science or relevant discipline.
• Manage time properly and complete tasks on time.
