About the Company
Our client is one of the big conglomerate group in South Korea, appointed as one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of prescription drugs in South Korea, Japan, the US, Canada, Swiss, Germany and across Asia, including Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Israel, Thailand, and India. It offers prescription drugs, quasi drugs, healthcare products and APIs. The company produces products in the forms of tablets, capsules, ointments, injections, liquids, and sprays. It offers its products for the therapeutic conditions of bone and joint diseases, cardiovascular diseases, central nervous system diseases, circulatory system, dermatological, gastrointestinal, and respiratory remedies, among others. It also carries out development and commercialization of products through in-licensing, co-marketing, and co-promotion.
This role will be part of HQ Korea Legal Dept, which has 10+ inhouse attorneys and they oversee all the legal matters, risk managements and corresponding works. The candidate has to relocate to Korea for about 1 year (after 1 year goes back to Indonesia).
Job Description:
- Manage all legal issues in related to all business conducted in Indonesia.
- Provide legal advices and counselings for business matters and review business contracts and prepare and corresponding to any legal actions (such as law suits, etc.).
- Provide any support for legal transactions for business matters and submit report to HQ Legal Dept.
- Manage close network and communications with local law firms.
- Manage all legal compliance matters of the company.
Requirements
Requirements
- Legal attorney licensed in Indonesia with law degree from law school in Indonesia
- Having 5+ years of experience as an inhouse attorney at a mid ~ large corporation in Indonesia
- Past experiences in pharmaceutical industry background preferred but not must.
- Other law practices from different industry background is acceptable
- Having corporate experience is a must
- English and Indonesian fluency must
- Willing to work in Korea for one year
