Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for Kitchen Assistants to support experience delivery across Sydney and beyond. Our client is one of Sydney and #x27;s premium food experience and corporate team-building providers.

It and #x27;s a casual position, and you can work as frequently or infrequently as you like depending on the bookings and roster requirements.

Assisting means supporting a Host and team of Chefs who are delivering a cooking experience.

The client guests prepare dishes with the recipes and ingredients provided. It and #x27;s a bit like having 8-12 Apprentices and supporting them to put up a family-style banquet for the first time.

1. As part of the delivery team, you and #x27;ll arrive a few hours early to help unload a van, set-up, layout equipment, measure ingredients and do general prep.
2. Then when the guests arrive, you and #x27;ll be on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly, taking instructions from the Host or Chefs.
3. After that, your job is to support the client guests with cleaning up and then assist with pack-down and loading equipment back into the van.

This is an excellent extra-income opportunity for someone with hospitality experience, ideally back and front of the house that would get a kick out of teaching and enabling others to enjoy their relationship with food.
