JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Fashion Forecasting:
Study current market trends fashion collections and competitor activities.
Introduce and develop new categories suitable for the company.
Identify target markets based on age gender and socioeconomic factors.
Predict upcoming fashion trends for the season and provide guidance to the design team.
2. Apparel Design:
Create new designs in line with the Creative Director's concept guidelines.
Establish clear design guidelines aligned with sales budget.
Ensure designs reflect current market trends and brand philosophy.
Maintain high design success rates and meet targets with precise designs.
Coordinate with the Fabric Department and oversee sample making and production.
3. Innovation:
Introduce fresh collections aligned with international trends to establish the brand as innovative.
Advocate for new concepts and outofthebox thinking in product innovation.
4. Market Research:
Analyze fashion trends customer preferences and competitor activities for forecasting.
Develop seasonal themes and briefs for marketing and visual merchandising teams.
5. Adherence to Design Calendar and SOPs:
Ensure designs are delivered according to the design calendar.
Strengthen the design and merchandising process to maintain smooth product delivery.
Maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ontime
