What You Will Do:
We are seeking a full-time Engineer In Charge to lead the daily activities of the mobile unit and provide the normal maintenance activities required for a NEP mobile unit to meet client requirements and operate up to NEP . This position is 100% travel and allows residence anywhere in the Key duties include:
- Work with the Director/Manager of Mobile Engineering to plan, coordinate, and assist with engineering projects for specified mobile
- Work with fellow Mobile Unit Engineers in the repair and maintenance of mobile unit
- Ensure the smooth workflow of the maintenance group as it relates to the needs of mobile unit
- Complete technical reports for each event to ensure equipment needs/issues are met and
- Coordinate equipment needs by working closely with Mobile Unit Coordinators and Field Shop
- Maintain and file the proper expense reports on a per show or other designated
- Assist with providing technical support for new mobile unit builds and system upgrades, in cooperation with the Engineering and Systems Integration
Requirements
What You Will Need:
- Technical or field or Engineering preferred, however various combinations of education and experience will be
- 5+ years of experience working in television production technology with progressive managerial
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology, equipment, facilities, and production for major commercial and cable television
- Supervisory experience required; including project coordination, sales support, and other related
- Ability to interface with clients and provide a high level of service and
- Must be willing and able to travel to NEP s live events as
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in high-pressure
