THE COMPANY
Our client is an accounting firm and financial planning and mortgage broker with a decade of experience specialising in serving high net worth individuals and managing a client with assets ranging from 5 to 15 million. The team composed of partners and young professionals hails mostly from midtier accounting firm. With over 30 staff members in accounting and financial planning including bookkeepers admin staff managers accountants and SMSF specialists the company also has a mortgage broking team with members from banking backgrounds. They prioritise ongoing development with monthly training sessions and offer a positive work environment with a good work/life balance limited overtime and regular staff lunches along with celebrations for birthdays financial yearend and among others.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Your role as a Junior Accountant will contribute to the success of the firm spanning various roles in accounting. You will play a crucial role in managing diverse business portfolios. Monthly training sessions underscore the firm’s commitment to your professional development providing ample opportunities for growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting Senior Accountants and Partners
- Handle complete tax compliance for diverse clients
- Initiate client interaction to foster strong relationships
- Evaluate client structures and aid in tax advice preparation
- Generate financial statements track key performance indicators
- and assist in goalsetting strategies.
- Identify avenues for enhancing client business growth
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Accountant or Undergraduate Accountant with a min of 1 years’ experience in an Australian CA or CPA firm
- CA/CPA/IPA in career plan or in progress
- Familiarity with current tax legislation applying it with partner guidance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative and selfconfidence
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Effective in both solo and team settings
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in software like Handisoft MYOB Quickbooks Xero Microsoft Office
- Eager to develop a fulfilling career
- Enthusiastic about aiding client business growth
