Java / Spring Developer (f/m/d) in the Big Data environment

Your Tasks:

Java is your passion and you would like to develop for more than 2 million customers? Then help us by developing our WebAnalytics product and internal ProductAnalytics for our customers with Spring Boot and Big Data technologies. You can expect flexible working hours, whether on-site in Karlsruhe or completely remote throughout Germany. In addition, you can continuously expand your know-how within the scope of training courses and at Java developer conferences.

• You plan, implement and integrate central services for Ionos WebAnalytics.
• You develop new features using Spring Boot, Kafka and Hadoop, among others.
• You design and develop scalable, high-load and fail-safe software that is geo-redundantly operated in our own data centres.
• You advise other teams on the use of our services and the integration of our systems.
• You ensure the functionality of our application landscape with development-accompanying tests.
• You port the application landscape to Kubernetes with us.

We Appreciate:

Have you completed a technical degree or comparable training? Are you interested in becoming part of an agile team and are you interested in development in the Big Data environment? • You have at least two years of professional experience in development with Java and Spring Boot and know your way around the Spring ecosystem.
• You develop secure and modern web services using Spring Boot, Spring WebMVC, Spring Security and Java 17.
• Ideally, you also have good knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Hive, Spark and Hadoop.
• You enjoy learning new things, have good communication skills and like to work precisely.
