IT Systems Engineer

We are currently looking for a motivated IT Systems Engineer for 40 hours/week to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

• You manage all internal IT systems and infrastructure used by our employees ranging from physical servers VMs running on Type 1 hypervisors (HyperV and VMware) Active Directory networks firewalls VPN cloud applications such as Office 365 and database technology such as MS SQL.
• You are responsible for installing configuring and maintaining IT systems including infrastructure applications and networks according to defined policies and standards.
• You handle 2ndline escalated IT operational issues and troubleshooting remotely or onsite.

Requirements

• You ideally have a BS / MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject.
• You have experience in IT Systems Administration.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Windows server/desktop technologies and Microsoft 365 Cloud.
• You have practical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory DFS WSUS and IIS.
• You ideally have technical qualifications such as CCNA/Microsoft/VMware certifications to complement this role.
• You have a very good understanding and experience with TCP/IP and OSI stack networks and firewall policies.
• You possess very good written and verbal English communication skills.
• You have prioritization skills and can work with minimal supervision.
• You are eager to learn enjoy keeping abreast of the latest technology trends and share knowledge with other colleagues.
