We are searching for a Senior Functional Analyst. He will be responsible for the functional design of a new .Net application including the database the flows and processes backend calculations and logic and integrations with other systems. The application is built in .Net Core with an Angular frontend. The main focus is on the backend part.
The Functional Analyst will be responsible for the functional analysis and documentation. He will support the backend developers and will be responsible for estimates changes and new functionalities. The Functional analyst will be in contact with several IS divisions and must be able to challenge the requirements functional architecture and the developing team on the choices.
The Functional analyst is responsible for the functional solution: writing and validating solutions in collaboration with the Business colleagues and Architects acting as SPOC for the developers in the team and validating/testing once developed. His main focus is the backend but a good comprehension of Frontend logic and technologies is definitely an advantage.
We expect the Functional analyst to:
- Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach.
- Help translating this functional design into welltailored technical design.
- Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
- Test the product before delivery to the users
- Analyze potential corrective actions to take.
- Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities
- Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs.
- Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation
- Communicate the status of the work to the Project Leader / Team Manager
Requirements
Your profile:
- At least 35 years of experience as a functional analyst.
- Experience in IT (mainly .NET applications) Object Oriented principles SQL.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge in technical backend architecture and frameworks (ASP.NET WEB API / Entity Framework).
- Knowledges in .Net Core.
- Angular understanding Database design.
- Familiar with the agile and scrum project methodology.
- A degree in computer sciences is prefered.
- Fluent in English one local language French or Dutch.
