- Oracle products Installation, Upgrades, and Administration
- Oracle Grid infrastructure Installation, Upgrades and Administration
- Oracle Data Guard and HA's solutions Installation and Administration
- Experience level in SQL tuning and database performance issues
- Microsoft SQL Server Installation, Upgrades, and Administration
- Microsoft SQL Server HA solutions including Mirroring and Always-on setup and administration
- Participating in DR tests between HQ and DR sites
- Participating in daily ETL operations and providing DB support whenever needed
- Participating in Coaching and training junior & new DBA team members
- Proactively monitoring for the databases servers in scope
- Incident recording and reporting for all DB related issues
- Ensuring that Database security measures/standards are always met as per internal security policy of the entity
- Ensuring that technology’s best practices are always utilized for the systems in scope
- Participating in processes enhancement & automation
- Participating in on-call duty to guarantee 24*7 DBA support for online and critical systems
