- An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Communication, International Development or similar field.
- A minimum of Five (5) years of relevant professional experience in writing/editing and layout of reports and publications.
- Proven experience in drafting as well as ensuring quality assessment for high-quality reports in line with the UNICEF writing style, branding, and reporting guidelines.
- Good knowledge of development and programme issues, especially with children's issues and UNICEF's work in an asset.
- Geographic knowledge of the Middle East and Northern Africa is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
