Institutional and Leadership Development Specialist

IREX seeks qualified Senior Gender Specialist candidates for the upcoming five-year USAID-funded Promoting the Voice and Leadership of Women Activity, which will seek to increase the voice, agency, and leadership of women in Jordan to increase their engagement in decision-making within their family, immediate community and at the national level and thus contribute more meaningfully to Jordan’s stability, economic prosperity and governance.

The Institutional and Leadership Development Specialist will lead the technical director of the activity’s system-level change through overseeing public sector organizational capacity and change management strengthening, civil society advocacy and coalition building, gender-sensitive research improvement, and women’s leadership capacity building. S/he will work with the Senior Gender Specialist and relevant staff activity staff to provide gender-sensitive legal and regulatory analysis.
