Voice L2 Technician


  • Working Location: Mons, Belgium
  • Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Language: High proficiency level in English language



EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

Proven working experience of/with voice protocols: H.323, SIP, SIPoTLS, ISDN (E1/T1), MGCP, RTP
Proven operational and configuration experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity, Cisco CUBE
Experience with virtual environments (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter)

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
Industry Certification from Cisco: CCNA Collaboration
Certified ITIL foundation
Experience with CISCO Contact Centre Express (UCCX)
Experience with Microsoft Skype for Business
Proven knowledge on common monitoring solutions, e.g. CA Spectrum, SolarWinds, SNMP-based tools
Deployment, configuration of secure voice features
Experience working in an operations center or service desk
Scripting experience ideally in python
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements

DUTIES/ROLE:
Responsible for the delivery of 2nd level technical support for Voice Services (incidents and service requests)
Be prepared to do on-call support during out of business hours on a rotation basis
Monitor the voice infrastructure, coordinate with the centralised helpdesk and intervene when required
Identify gaps and educate level 1 support personnel
Be prepared to work outside of business hours if required
Assists in logistic and asset management of voice services equipment
Maintenance of core voice infrastructure (CUCM, SBCs and V2 routers)
Collaborate with local Customer Support Units (CSU) in remote sites in solving customer issues
